This one's been out for a good while, but I've just recently picked it up. I've beaten the main game, but the missions are keeping me busy. ^.^ Anyway, I do prefer the Advance games to the original Tactics, and this one is the better of the two Advance ones. Something I'll have to complain about is the fact that you have to start with 0 MP every fight, but the new jobs, new item system, and the new races make up for it.

I, for one, am so glad the Gria are in the game. How many times I've looked at the Ahriman in the first Tactics Advance and thought, "I want a character that flies but isn't a monster, too! Dx" Well, here you are. And they're so deadly.

This game is quickly rising up my list of favorite games.

Barely got past the first 10 missions actually. The first 2 times I tried I didn't even get past the third fight, and now I'm a bit further, but still not far. That considerd, I did almost beat Tactics: Advance 1.

Aww, you stopped so early? The thing that always bothered me about tactical games is their pace, which is so incredibly slow. You have to go out of your way sometimes to train your characters, since they start out so weak. It's different from, say, Pokémon where they grow at a steady rate, to say. When you start out, it's a bit of a pain the first battles, since you have the same abilities that never seem to be getting better and cut about a fifth of the enemies' HP per hit >> But if you stick with the game for a while, it gets so addicting. =3 (I think Fire Emblem is one of the only tactical games I've played that isn't "slow...")

Where I got stuck was where you only had like 3-4 areas, so you coulnd't train at all. The only battle you could do was the one completely killing me:D

I could swear at any point you could do some dispatch missions (and then the same ones) over and over again to get some AP, but it's so tedious. >> To get Ultima Shot for Luso and a Gria with only one Seventh Heaven took, what 1,980 AP? Each mission only gives 30 AP (outside story-related missions, which are 80 AP). And I wasted possibly three hours dispatching back and forth to master those two abilities. <<
In the end, it was way worth it, though, thankfully.

The game is easy if you have the right abilities, but some of the things post-game are still hard for me. I haven't found enough power or levels to defeat the five kings all at level 99 yet...

I'm talking about really soon in the game already. Like your second or third battle. There are no dispatch matches there yet:embarassed:

But for the first three battles, don't you have an easy win if you just send out all your characters as they are? The Black Mage Nu Mou should be very useful and the White Mage Viera. Other than that, Cid kills for you.

Oh I'm real stupid. I've mistaken the titel; The game I mean is actually Tactics: The War of the Lions xD
