Star Ocean: First Departure

Did anyone played the first game in the Star Ocean series?

I have the remake for PSP which I play in the train when I go to work/school. I've played the game for 10 hours now and so far I like it. Nice voice acting and I like the battle system.

One minor thing is with a headset on the volume of the game is not that great as other games.

This was the second one of the series that I played. I bought the remake for the PSP, too, so I never played the original. It was really, really fun, since the replay value is high with all the characters and stuff. I didn't like the voice acting so much, though. xp

Although, I would say it's my least favorite of the series. I still love it, mind you, it's just that the characters aren't all that interesting, bar a couple. And the story really isn't "wow." But still a very fun game. I racked hours and hours of gameplay before I finally stopped (only to play Second Evolution, loool).
