How plausible is a selection of rotating headers on the forum skin? That'd be pretty neat to have some good looking user submitted header graphics and have them in some kinda rotation. But I have no idea how bandwidth demanding that or whether the forum scripts even support that sorta thing 8D

I think we definitely need a shoutbox. That'd be pretty handy, but sometimes that diverts attention from actual posts. I do also like the idea of embedding youtube vids. That would be handy.

A shoutbox would focus more attention on socializing there, instead of posting new posts/topics on the forums, which in it's turn draws new members again!

Would it be possible to add in something like "most recently replied too topics" somewhere, I know there's a new post tab on the top but it'd be nice to have something like the 5 most recently replied too threads at the bottom or top like we used too on HHN.

If I remember correctly there used to be 5 newest members and 5 top post counts. Maybe loost the top 5 post counts list tho cause it makes people a little competative at times (same goes for the chatbox, but from what i can see with poking around there's noway to look at who puts the most messages into that)

Also just a question about the arcade, though not sure if this is the place or not to ask but here goes: Some games don't actually work in the Arcade, such as Nanaca Crash or Ms Pacman. So just thought I'd drop in that little note here.

Just commenting to second the fact Nanaca Crash doesn't work by the way. Comes up with Flash Player and a picture of a girl. Tried it four or five times last night and waited at different intervals but nothing. Would love to see it work so I don't have to steal my fourth trophy back off teh Tsuj. :D

EDIT - By the way, this isn't so much a modification but didn't think it really merited it's own thread but do you plan on getting the clan system back, Zid? I know it kinda died off at the end but I was just curious.

I've disabled the max images limit.
Just mail me the smilies and I'll see what I can do. ;)

It seems like Nanaca Crash doesn't work with the new version of Flash Player. Hopefully I can find a updated version.

Just make sure to code it without using embed as it isn't valid. =P

Actually if you want.. you can have the one I made for youtube. It's validated.

Unless someone's mentioned it already: What about stuff like user reputation? They're on most vB forums, after all. I know people sometimes get too competitive and annoying with them, but I think we're all mature enough not to. In my opinion it's a great way to tell someone that you're appreciating the stuff that they're posting, and it's motivating when you see that other people like your posts. The comments are nice, too. =)

I've have experience with user reputation and that was not really good. I don't like starting a war among members (like bad rating a member who he/she hates).

Yeah, I doubt it'll happen here. Usually, immaturity and abuse with the reputation system is due to a group of idiots out of a large forum; here, we have a somewhat small community. If that group of people were to have sprouted here, then we would have seen some crazy post-whoring by now, at least. =S

The people are mature enough not to just give someone a negative reputation just because they don't completely agree with every word of said person's post. And with that, I also think we're mature enough that we won't go completely insane and vengeful when something like that does happen to us. From what we've all posted here, I don't see that being a problem at all, though. It's all about trusting the members, really. (Plus, it someone really is desperate for for good reputation, then they'll produce higher quality posts, which would benefit the forum in my mind. >>)

Couldn't you just kill off reputation for the person who's abusing it alone, though, without discontinuing it for everyone else to show their appreciation?

I've enabled the reputation feature. I'll keep an eye on it. :)

I've uninstalled several mods since there are new versions available. All the Gil earned will be reset to normal. Playing an arcade game will soon cost money, but you can also win money if you become first. The Triple Triad mod will be coming back soon and it will be a complete different version with an improved battle arena. Also I've succesfully got the RPG system running (with thanks to a friend) and it might return too soon (still needs a lot of tweaking).

Could you perhaps put up a FAQ specific for this forum's usage of it? I'm curious about all the numbers and things, like requirements, reputation power, that kind of stuff. I know that varies from forum to forum.
