Did anyone play Dissidia: Final Fantasy on the PSP?

I got it on day 1 of the release and I really like the battle system and the all the characters in the game. What I dislike is the story, which is kind of boring. I haven't finished the game because of that.

I haven't actually played it yet, but I think that it looks amazing! I'm glad that they made a FF with several of the main characters!

Hopefully, I'll be able to get it here soon (Once things calm down a little with school) and play through it.

I haven't and I have no plans to. I don't like portables anymore.. and won't be getting any new portable systems. The Gameboy Advance was my last. I only played portables when I didn't have access to my home consoles like on a trip or something.. but I don't go much places anymore.. and thus if I want to play something.. I do so on a home console.

If they remake Dissidia or make Dissidia for the home console I'll play it. If not.. it'll be another KH/FF related game I will never play unless working emulators and roms come out for them.

I loved this game, best fighting game out. 400hours playtime and I finally complete everything in the game. When its a fighting game yhou dolnt expect much story, but what there was I enjoyedi it. I dont like the emphasis on FF1 though.

I love Dissidia, they did such a fantastic job with the characters. The story was a little bit cliched - some of the story parts were good though. I liked the music a lot - well I also liked how they kept some of the originals back :D

The battle system was great :) the graphics were awesome. This game is definitely worth your while!

I love it, altough some characters are obviously worse then others. I personally have a level 63 Bartz, because he can learn abilities from all good guys, which makes me able to cusotmize him with pretty much the best attacks IMHO.

The only problem I seem to have is called a little bloke named Chaos, who tends to fill 3/4 of your fighting field, along with having AOE attacks. I really can't beat him :(, so I cant get Gabranth >.<

You know it took me days to beat him - I was pretty upset!! I started with Terra and I had to max up her level just to beat him. I don't remember my strategy that well but I think I used a cheap trick on him like spam Tornado or something..

But he is a tough one to beat, and his AOE attacks are horrid!! It is so hard to escape from them, and the only way I think I managed was to not let him attack at all XD

Good luck with him!!

Dissidia is absolutely amazing. It takes all the elements of an RPG and mixes it with your standard fighting game to create a heavenly product. Plus, all the characters from the main series coming together was a huge satisfaction for a lot fans, I'd say.

I bought the game the day right when it came out, being so excited about it. I mainly use Luneth (Onion Knight, but I give him his alternate costume) for everything. I love the speediness and physical/magical abilities that he has. I originally planned on using Zidane, but had a change of mind later on. Bartz is another character who I use a lot with Luneth and Zidane, and Shantotto, too. Basically, the small/speed/ability-ful ones that I like.

Tried him again a few times, got the the third fight for the first time. His AoI attacks are just to big to dodge there... I manged to dodge half the attack once at the most. I used a level 68 Bartz..

Finally got around to starting this game. I haven't gotten very far yet but i'm a little put off it. It could be that i was sick when i started it and couldn't really concentrate. It could be that I don't really like all-out fighting games, I prefer a world map and freedom for side-quests. Or (and this is most likely) I just can't get into it because the whole time my brother was playing it he was disrespecting our agreement of silence and trying to tell me everything about the game! Harumph! I can't shut that boy up! Anyways, so far my opinion of the game is kind of low...
