no where near finished but was wondering if you had any feed back on the genereal idea of it

I like your design a lot! Nice choice of font, it suits the banner well. Doesn't draw too much attention to itself, but it's far from simple at the same time. Good ol' Century Gothic is like that, though. XP

Only thing I'd recommend is probably soft blending the dragon at the bottom more, so it's not so visible for such a great height. It will get relatively distracting when trying to throw content onto the design.

Just a minor suggestion xP But nice job!

Nice clean font, very good.
Just one suggestion is to look at your fade around your dragon, on the right you're blending the surroundings and on the left you're blending the dragon. That's a shame for sucha nice dragon. ^^

I have to concur with this. It looks like a cool website, and I'm curious what you will do with the navigation, but indeed, the dragon is to far in the content area.
