Are you into retro gaming?

I recently connected my Master System (my first gameconsole) to my TV and it still works. Only the controller didn't, but I fixed it.
It's nostalgic to play those old games. Now I'm collecting some Master System games via sites like eBay.

I might buy a Sega Mega Drive too sometime.

I don't get to game as much as I'd like, retro or otherwise. Due to time constraints, I'd have to make a pretty big decision to abandon modern games if I wanted to play retro, and I'm not sure I'm prepared to do that. My old Megadrive is still gathering dust

I luv me some Retro gaming I do! Though I admit I haven't played any as of late lol. Though I have been playing Yoshi's Island on the GBA which is a remake / port of the SNES game, not much retro gaming otherwise done!

My recent retro gaming has been re-playing Pokemon Yellow; that's as far as it goes, considering my first console was actually a GBA.

The most recent retro i have been playing was Doom from the XBL arcade. It may not be retro all the way since it was on the 360 but it is still a classic.
I have also been playing Streets of rage on my sega mega drive II

Damnit! Just found this thread and I've been tempted to plug in my old PS (from before it became PSOne) and play Final Fantasy VII or IX. May do that now actually...

Got a Sega Mega Drive and my sis' Gamecube, Dad's PS2 lying about etc.

Do it sir, old games never lose their charm. Me and Kim often play some old games too, never regret it either!

I know but like they end up breaking after awhile, like my SNES, old Nintendo, N64, PS1!! I think the only one's alive are like my Gamecube, Gameboy Colour, PS2 (well can't really consider it retro lol).

But I love playing Tetris on the Xbox 360 Classic Arcade game
It is rather addicting!

There are a lot of retro games on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and WiiWare. Capcom's Mega Man 9 and 10 are specially made for them in 8-bit graphics. I only played a demo of Mega Man 9, but I'm thinking of getting it, since I really like the nostalgic gameplay. Only it has no trophies, but Mega Man 10 has them.
